Bluetooth Module Upgrade Accessory Fitting Instructions Bluetooth Module Upgrade Part Number: FD43-37-10142 Applicable Vehicles: V8, V8S, V12 & V12S Vantage, DB9, DBS, Virage, Rapide & Rapide S Model Years: 08MY onwards Installation Time: 0.75 hours This Bluetooth module upgrade kit can only be fitted to the vehicles specified above. The vehicle must have the correct factory-fitted Bluetooth system installed from new. If in doubt, please contact Aston Martin Parts Operations. Issue 001 August 2014 FD43-37-10142 Page 1 of 2 Bluetooth Module Upgrade 1. Operate the driver's seat to its fully rearward position. 2. Do the battery disconnection procedure (14.01.CA - Battery Disconnection and Connection Procedure).[ 3. Remove the two nuts that attach the floor carpet and the sound insulation panel to the body and collect the two washers. 4. 5. 6. Remove the three bolts that attach the Bluetooth module to the bracket. 7. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the Bluetooth module. 8. Remove the Bluetooth module. 9. Install the new module using the reverse of the above procedure. Remove the two fir tree clips that attach the sound insulation panel to the Instrument Panel (IP). Remove the sound insulation panel. 10. Reconnect the battery according to the standard procedure. 11. Update the car config file . 12. Flash the ICM module with the latest software version. 13. Test the operation of the new module. 14. Insert the supplied Operating Instructions supplement in to the vehicle Owner’s Manual. Issue 001 August 2014 FD43-37-10142 Page 2 of 2
