ESC2 senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer) and attempts to correct the vehicle’s course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes to individual wheels. CROSS-PATH DETECTION 4 PARKVIEW ® REAR BACK-UP CAMERA 4 provides a wide-angle view of the area immediately behind the vehicle, giving the driver greater peace of mind before moving backwards at low speeds. It displays dynamic grid lines on a color touchscreen to aid the driver when the vehicle is in Reverse. Standard on Lusso and Abarth; available on Classica. The very core of FIAT 124 Spider: its strong unibody is constructed with high-tensile-strength steel that includes crumple zones designed to help absorb energy in the event of a collision and redirect it away from passengers. STEEL SAFETY FRAME SEE AND BE SEEN Standard projector halogen headlamps and halogen daytime running lamps (DRLs), as well as available LED headlamps and available LED DRLs, help enable other drivers to see you coming. Additional available lighting enhancements include automatic headlamps, headlamp washers, Auto High-Beam Headlamp Control and an Adaptive Front Lighting System that uses the steering angle and vehicle speed to adjust the headlamp position to maintain a wide field of vision. PARKSENSE ® REAR PARK ASSIST SYSTEM4 can help you park and back out with grace. When the vehicle is in Reverse, these available sensors detect objects in the rear back-up pathway and also provide an audible and visual warning so you have time to react.
