Flexible seating and a rear liftgate make it easy to load that designer chair or gear for a training ride. Venza also offers a choice between 4-cylinder and available V6 engines, both of which offer robust passing power, and available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) to help enhance traction on most surfaces. All this works in concert to provide an elegant fusion of style and utility. Let’s mix fashion and function. Let’s go places. Venza is ready to deliver on whatever you desire to do. With its stylish design, exceptional versatility and powerful performance, all you have to decide is what’s next. XLE 4-cylinder shown in Attitude Black Metallic with available accessory roof rack. Even when parked, you’ll make progress. Part of what makes Venza so appealing is that, for almost any daily challenge, it offers an elegant solution. With its impressive array of high-tech features, Venza is all about helping you get things done while enjoying yourself along the way. From advanced multimedia systems to cutting-edge audio capabilities, this is one vehicle that can handle your to-do list as well as your playlist. Blind Spot Mirrors1 The upper outside corner on each of Venza’s outside mirrors gives you a wide-angle view to help you detect other automobiles that might be lurking in the vehicle’s blind spots. Smart Key System2 With Push Button Start On XLE and Limited, the Smart Key System with Push Button Start lets you lock or unlock your vehicle while the Smart Key fob is in your pocket or bag. There’s also a touch-sensor feature that lets you lock the doors by touching the top of the door handle or unlock them by grabbing the handle. Entune™ Premium JBL® Audio Available Entune™ Premium JBL® Audio gives you a concert hall music experience in the comfort of your own vehicle. With its thoughtful design and attention to craftsmanship, Venza is a truly remarkable blend of comfort, style and versatility. 2014 model shown. 2014 model shown. Designed for a full life. No matter what your plans are for the day, Venza’s versatile interior is ready. In fact, with the rear seatbacks folded down, it offers a full 70.2 cubic feet of cargo space.1 And with the 60/40 split and fold-flat rear seats, you can transport any combination of people and payload. Plus, a convenient power liftgate and a low liftover height make access to the cargo area easy. You could say Venza is loaded with possibilities. One-Touch Fold-Flat Seats Venza’s spacious 5-passenger cabin easily transforms into a versatile cargo carrier. Thanks to the handy one-touch fold-flat levers located in the cargo area, the rear seatbacks quickly fold flat. Reclining Rear Seats The attentive Venza gives rear-seat passengers first-class treatment. With the pull of a lever on either side, the 60/40 rear seatbacks recline. Rear-Seat Vents Venza’s center console spoils rear-seat passengers with rear air vents. The vents are operated by the dual zone climate control system, which also features an air filter that traps dust and other airborne particles. Power Liftgate With Jam Protection Venza’s available power liftgate can be operated in a variety of ways. It can be both opened and closed with buttons on the dashboard or on the remote keyless entry or available Smart Key2 fobs. The liftgate can also be closed by pressing a button located on the liftgate itself. Thoughtful Storage Venza offers many places to store things. Under the sliding center armrest’s padded top, you’ll find a storage tray and a deep storage compartment. There’s another large storage compartment, complete with a 12V auxiliary power outlet, under the sliding cup holder lid. That compartment and the pair of cup holders are illuminated by LEDs. Plus, each door features a map pocket and a 20-oz. bottle holder. 2013 model shown. Venza’s available power liftgate includes a jam protection feature that signals the liftgate to reverse its direction if the sensor detects an obstruction while the liftgate is opening or closing. 1. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. 2. See footnote 19 in Disclosures section. Make every getaway a clean one. With its refined exterior lines and sculpted front end, Venza disposes of any preconceptions one might have about needing to sacrifice style for versatility. Offering ample seating for five and room for everyone’s gear, it’s as well-suited for a weekend road trip as it is for a night on the town. 2013 Limited shown in Blizzard Pearl. There’s just something about a place with a nice atmosphere. From the customizable comfort of a dual zone automatic climate control system to the indulgence of available multi-stage heated front seats, Venza is designed not only to take you to your destination, but also to be a destination in its own right. And with the available panoramic roof,1 that destination becomes even more appealing. Panoramic Roof With an available power tilt/slide moonroof above the front seats and a panoramic glass roof above the rear seats, Venza creates a brilliant and open experience inside the cabin. Backup Camera2 When you’re backing up, Venza’s standard backup camera displays the area behind the vehicle that’s visible to the camera. The image will be displayed on the 6.1-in. touch-screen. Customized Climate Venza’s dual zone automatic climate control system with air filter lets frontseat occupants optimize their own cabin environment. Rear-seat passengers, too, can control their environment by adjusting the vent position. Multi-Stage Heated Front Seats XLE’s and Limited’s leather-trimmed multi-stage heated front seats allow each front occupant to dial in their own level of comfort. 2014 model shown. MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY The Multi-Information Display provides data such as climate settings, outside temperature, fuel economy and trip information, and other important details. 1. Standard on Limited. 2. See footnote 15 in Disclosures section. XLE interior shown in Light Gray with available Premium Package. Handling is best when all four wheels pitch in. Whether you’re engaged in straight-line acceleration, low-speed cornering, highway cruising or hard braking, Venza’s available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is engineered to distribute power between the front and rear wheels according to driving conditions, helping to enhance traction at all times. Plentiful Performance Venza was designed with performance in mind. Venza V6 with Front-Wheel Drive accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 6.7 seconds.1 Plus, its wide stance, available 20-in. alloy wheels and lower center of gravity give it precise handling. What’s more, when equipped with the standard Tow Prep Package, Venza V6 can tow up to 3500 lb.2 All-Wheel Drive (AWD) With Active Torque Control The available All-Wheel Drive with active torque control has a knack for direction. AWD actively monitors each wheel, distributing the engine’s power to the appropriate wheel at the appropriate moment. This advanced technology helps to optimize traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)3 To compensate for a loss of traction while cornering and help prevent sideways slipping, Venza utilizes Enhanced VSC. The system adjusts engine power, braking and steering torque-assist control to help the vehicle follow the direction in which it is being steered. 1. Performance figures are for comparison only and were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers using special safety equipment and procedures. Do not attempt. 2. See footnote 2 in Disclosures section. 3. See footnote 21 in Disclosures section. 4. See footnote 27 in Disclosures section. HILL START ASSIST CONTROL4 When accelerating from a standstill on an incline, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backward. When activated, the feature holds the brakes for approximately two seconds as the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator. TRACTION CONTROL By slightly applying the brake on a slipping drive wheel and reducing the throttle, Traction Control (TRAC) helps reduce wheelspin and maintain traction, according to road surface conditions. The system helps ensure vehicle control when starting or accelerating on slippery roads. 2013 Limited AWD shown in Blizzard Pearl. Beauty from within. As visually attractive as Venza is, it’s even more appealing when you consider the many features you can’t see. Our Star Safety System™ is designed to help you avoid trouble. In the event trouble proves unavoidable, Venza is equipped with an occupant protection system, developed through our rigorous crash testing, that features seven airbags.1 Star Safety System™ Venza comes standard with the Star Safety System,™ a suite of six active safety features designed to help keep drivers out of harm’s way. Venza’s system includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC),2 Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA)3 and Smart Stop Technology® (SST).4 Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS)5 Maintaining proper tire pressure is important. TPMS evaluates the pressure of the tires and issues a warning if the pressure becomes critically low. Advanced Airbag System Not all collisions call for the same level of protection. Venza comes standard with an advanced dual stage front airbag system for the driver and front passenger. In a collision, the system senses impact severity and adjusts airbag deployment accordingly. AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM6 Limited’s Automatic High Beam feature enhances visibility when driving at night or in other low light conditions. The system detects oncoming vehicles as far away as 2000 feet and, depending on the circumstances, automatically switches the high beams on and off. 1. See footnote 24 in Disclosures section. 2. See footnote 21 in Disclosures section. 3. See footnote 22 in Disclosures section. 4. See footnote 23 in Disclosures section. 5. See footnote 26 in Disclosures section. 6. See footnote 5 in Disclosures section. 1 2 3 4 5 CRUMPLE ZONES Front and rear energy-absorbing crumple zones and a collapsible steering column are designed to help dissipate impact forces in a collision, and help protect occupants. SMART STOP TECHNOLOGY® (SST)1 At speeds greater than five mph, when the accelerator is depressed first and the brakes are then applied firmly for longer than one-half second, SST is designed to help you bring the vehicle to a stop. ADVANCED SEATBELTS Venza’s driver and front passenger seatbelts feature pretensioners with force limiters, along with adjustable shoulder anchors. ACTIVE FRONT HEADRESTS2 Venza comes standard with active headrests on the front seats that adjust to better support the front occupants’ heads during certain lower-speed rear-end collisions. LATCH Helping to protect the smaller members of your family, LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) includes anchors and tethers on each outboard rear seat. 3 4 1 2 1 5 Photo not intended to replicate actual inflated airbags. 2014 model shown. 1. See footnote 23 in Disclosures section. 2. See footnote 25 in Disclosures section. Style, your way. With a wide range of available Genuine Toyota Accessories, you’ll be able to truly personalize your Venza. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. Do not exceed any Weight Ratings and follow all instructions in your Owner’s Manual. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. “Added vehicle equipment” includes additional standard/optional equipment and accessories added by the manufacturer, dealers, and/or vehicle owners. The only way to be certain of your vehicle’s exact curb weight is to weigh your vehicle without passengers or cargo. 3. 2014 EPA-estimated mileage. Actual mileage will vary. 4. Toyota strives to build vehicles to match customer interest and thus they typically are built with popular options and option packages. Not all options/packages are available separately and some may not be available in all regions of the country. See toyota.com for information about options/packages commonly available in your area. If you would prefer a vehicle without any or with different options, contact your dealer to check for current availability or the possibility of placing a special order. 5. The automatic high beam system operates at speeds above 21 mph. Situations such as a dirty windshield, variable weather, lighting conditions and hilly terrain will limit effectiveness, requiring the driver to manually turn off. See Owner’s Manual for details. 6. Do not rely exclusively on the blind spot mirrors. Always look over your shoulder and use your turn signal. There are limitations to the function, detection, range and clarity of the mirrors. To learn more, see your Owner’s Manual. 7. Entune™ is a trademark of Toyota Motor Corporation. Always drive safely, obey traffic laws and focus on the road while driving. The Smart Key System may interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. 20. HomeLink® is a registered trademark of Johnson Controls, Inc. 21. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. 22. Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance and tire and road conditions. 23. Smart Stop Technology® operates only in the event of certain simultaneous brake and accelerator pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce power to help the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology® is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. 24. All the airbag (AB) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; RollSensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. See your Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings. 25. Active front headrests can help reduce the extent of whiplash in certain types of rear-end collisions. 26. The Toyota Tire Pressure Monitor alerts the driver when tire pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. See your Owner’s Manual for details. 27. HAC is designed to help minimize backward rolling on steep ascents. It is not a substitute for safe driving judgment and practices. Factors including grade, surface conditions and driver input can all affect whether HAC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. 28. The engine immobilizer is a state-of-the-art anti-theft system. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a Smart Key fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key/fob matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key/fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or fob, your Toyota dealer can help, or you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security key services by consulting your local Yellow Pages or by contacting www.aloa.org.
