Pro Racer can be used with all kinds of PlayStation games, but is primarily designed for use with driving games. This is the best option for non-driving games, but you may find that you prefer it for some driving games too. In this mode the steering wheel handle, + buttons are all digital. The rumble feature should be active in this mode. This is the default mode for the controller and the LED is off . How to setup your Pro Racer • Turn off your PlayStation 2. • Insert the Pro Racer’s plug into one of the standard controller ports on your PlayStation 2. • Turn on your PlayStation 2. Using your Pro Racer (see fig.1) The Pro Racer has all of the Buttons that you would expect from a PlayStation controller. All are clearly marked and used in exactly the same way as normal. In addition, the Pro Racer will function in three major modes: • Negcon • Vibra Force 2 Digital • Vibra Force 2 Analog fig.1 Negcon mode This is a mode specifically designed for steering wheels and may be required by some driving games. To switch the Pro Racer to Negcon mode follow these steps. • Press and hold the MODE button down for 2 seconds and release.
